P&I SMART allows the entire payroll process - from generation to printout - to be performed at one desk. P&I SMART is an industry-neutral solution that complies with all standard statutory and social security requirements.

As a standard solution, P&I SMART offers a comprehensive range of functions, which include, for example, short work time accounting. On the other hand it also ensures the secure, encrypted transmission of DEÜV notifications (monthly and annual notifications) and the monthly proof of social security contributions by E-Mail to the health insurance companies, resulting in a considerable reduction in both the administrative workload and postage costs.

One of the special features of P&I SMART is its ability to keep unlimited historical track of the personnel data, enabling retroactive accounting (corrections for months that have already been processed) for any months, no matter how far back in the past they are.

Moreover, P&I SMART supports the net/gross approximation calculation, whereby the salary extrapolates all salary payments (individual or total payments) based on a target net payment taking into account the individual tax and social security deductions from the relevant gross salary (for example, new recruits, salary reviews or If certain net salary levels need to be guaranteed for foreign assignments).

P&I SMART generates the payslips for employees upon demand. In addition to a range of further standard reports, the system also has an report generator that can be used to define any preferred structure of reports from the database.
